As per FIA Cross Country regulations, a Prologue Stage may be up to 20km.
A long prologue stage gives a clear chance to competitors to demonstrate their real level of performance and ranked accordingly.
On the other hand, a long prologue stage may become tricky and any mistake affects directly the overall event performance of a driver.
In all 9 previous editions of Rally Greece Offroad the prologue stage was not more than 6km.
Lets see the strategy of each competitor in a 19,5km stage.
The proposed stage consists of long fast straights where car performance is essential and forest technical parts were driving skills are of at most importance.
